About TCF:

The Citizens Foundations (TCF) is a professionally managed, non-profit organization set up in 1995 by a group of citizens concerned with the dismal state of education in Pakistan. As of April 2011, TCF has established over 738 purpose-built school units nationwide with an enrollment of 102,000 students.

TCF encourages female enrollment and boasts of a 50% female to male ratio in almost every campus. TCF has an exclusively female faculty of 5,400 teachers. TCF also has dedicated Teacher Training Centers; more than 7,000 jobs have been created in the communities in which TCF operates.

About TCF Michigan:

The Citizens Foundations (TCF) is the parent charity orgnization in Pakistan. TCF-USA is a tax-exempt 501-c organization that raises funds for The Citizens Foundation (TCF) with supports various satellite chapters across the United States. TCF Michigan is a local chapter of TCF-USA and was formed in June 2010.

Vision:

The vision of TCF is to remove barriers of class and privilege and to
make the citizens of Pakistan agents of positive change. We believe
that access to basic education is the right of every child.

Mission:

TCF Michigan was formed in June of 2010 with the mission to build and operate a primary school for over 200 children.

Facts:

The TCF organization is audited every year by KPMG and has recieved a 4-Star Rating from Charity Navigator. TCF has only 9.3% overhead costs and has been recognized in publications such as the ‘New York Times’ and the ‘Tribune’.
