About TCF: The Citizens Foundations (TCF) is a professionally managed, non-profit organization set up in 1995 by a group of citizens concerned with the dismal state of education in Pakistan. As of April 2011, TCF has established over 738 purpose-built school units nationwide with an enrollment of 102,000 students. TCF encourages female enrollment and boasts of a 50% female to male ratio in almost every campus. TCF has an exclusively female faculty of 5,400 teachers. TCF also has dedicated Teacher Training Centers; more than 7,000 jobs have been created in the communities in which TCF operates. About TCF Michigan:
The Citizens Foundations (TCF) is the parent charity orgnization in Pakistan. TCF-USA is a tax-exempt 501-c organization that raises funds for The Citizens Foundation (TCF) with supports various satellite chapters across the United States. TCF Michigan is a local chapter of TCF-USA and was formed in June 2010. Vision: The vision of TCF is to remove barriers of class and privilege and to Mission: TCF Michigan was formed in June of 2010 with the mission to build and operate a primary school for over 200 children. Facts: The TCF organization is audited every year by KPMG and has recieved a 4-Star Rating from Charity Navigator. TCF has only 9.3% overhead costs and has been recognized in publications such as the ‘New York Times’ and the ‘Tribune’.
